Do you ever look at yourself in the mirror one day or one time and love what you see; and then the next time, loath it? What is that about? Sometimes I put things on and see one person and then see another when I walk by the mirror again.

I stepped on the scale tonight at home and at the gym. I'm setting myself up for a gain. I know TOM is around the corner, and I just feel blaaaah.

I guess we will find out tomorrow.

Woo Who!

I originally started WW April 1st '08. I weighed in at a whopping 245. I kept on WW for 14 weeks, lost 10 lbs, then made excuses and quit. October 2nd '08, I started again @ 234. I had told myself I was completely starting over. I deleted my past weights online and started fresh. At the WI center though, my old weights were still in the computer.

Last week, I made my original 10% goal with the 6.5 lbs loss. I didn't realize it until right before Thursday's WI (which I lost another pound!). I told my receptionist about it and the starting over etc. and she said WW's goes by the sum total of weight lost regardless of quitting, starting over, whatever. So, I officially made my 10% goal!

I decided that I'm going to go with the overall weight loss too although I'm not going to add back my weight online (I don't think). Regardless, I told myself losing weight and this journey isn't a stop and start thing. It's a continuous process that I started in April and even though I got side tracked for a month, I still need to give myself credit for the 10 lbs I lost originally.

So, with that said, WOO WHOO! I've lost 27 lbs total and I feel great/empowered/energized/healthier about it!

Sorry so long

The past few weeks have been very up and down. I had been toying with a few lbs between the weeks, but this past week (yes the weigh in after Thanksgiving) I lost 6.5 lbs! How you ask?

I have NO idea. I'm chalking it up to working out finally paying off. I feel like I'm almost destined to gain a few pounds this coming week though just because I lost so much this week. We'll see.

Oh PS I've dropped a few pant's sizes too. Yay! I'm back to the size I was in college.

WI Update

Damn it! I went to my normal WI tonight and the lady said that I'm down 1.6. I was so excited!!

Then I looked at my booklet. Where I had gone to a different location last week to WI during lunch, it meant I was down 1.6 since the last time I had gone to my regular WI place. So, I actually gained a pound this week. Booooo. And I thought I had finally reached a goal :-(

TOM'S here though, so maybe that's it? And I haven't worked out nearly as much as . Plus where I went home and ate tons of veggie soup. Ugh. I'm reallllly hoping for a big number next week.

I'm headed to the gym to listen to my good playlist. I treated myself last night and bought a few songs and made a playlist titled "Goal Weight Workout" :-) haha

WI from last week

Last week's WI, I was down 2.6 which was A-MAZING! I had worked out 5 days and stayed OP completely. I deserved that #! I lost the pound I gained the week before plus another 1.6 and I hit the 228 benchmark a week early.

This week I'm hoping to lose at least something. TOM's here and I went home for the weekend to visit my family. I ate ok, but not great at all! I didn't work out over the weekend and didn't work out last night. I actually ended up going for drinks with coworkers. I counted everything though! Hopefully I can get down at least some before WI Thursday. I tried to give myself the 'last chance work out' tonight though. Hopefully that'll jump start me.

So far the total of weight lost during time #2 on WW: 6lbs :-)
Total on WW: 17lbs

Weigh In #2

Last night was WI#2 and I gained 1 pound. I'm ok with that. I was traveling all week, drank a lot of beer, and didn't work out at all. I did try to track some food. I also tried to conciously think about what I was eating. I did better than if I wasn't on weight watchers!

Two nights ago, I got back from my marathon of a trip and my fiance and I broke-up. He moved out yesterday. I've been trying to fight emotional eating and I'm doing ok with it. The worst part is being alone in the apartment with just me, the cats, and my mind racing. My best girlfriend is coming down for the weekend. Probably staying through Tuesday. Starting anew is always hard to do it alone. Thank god she's coming! My goal over the weekend besides rearranging is to work out at least once.

First WI

Today was the first weigh-in for me. I lost 4.4lbs this week! I was so excited! I hit 229. I haven't seen that number in so long. Originally starting WW I was 245. Now to have hit under that 230 mark which I struggled so much with last time, I have such incentive! I came home and even worked out to a video for 20 minutes...

I'm in the middle of packing for this weekend and next week. I'm leaving right after work tomorrow evening and heading to Motown for WVU Homecoming! Partying, football, and booze is what the weekend will involve. I'm very excited, but VERY nervous....I'm bringing my tracker and points calc to try to keep up with things.

Then Sunday-Tuesday I'm going to our corporate office in Pittsburgh for training. Heading back through home to see Mom Tuesday night and coming back to Charlotte Wednesday. That's a lot of traveling and good times to stay OP with. I'm going to try my best though.

Woo! Go 'eers :-)

Realization Tonight

The fiance and I went to the gym tonight. It was 8:15 when we got out of there, hadn't had any supper to speak of so we went through Zaxby's drive-thru. I thought it was kind of hilarious. Anyway, we both got a grilled chicken caesar salad. When we got home, I immediately looked up all of the nutrition to figure out the points for the salad. I took out all of the croutons and used Free Honey Mustard from home. Ended up being 8 points for just the salad plus 1.5 points for the dressing. I was ok with that since it included both cheese and bacon!!

Realization: They gave us 2 packets each of caesar dressing for one salad. Before I would have used both on my salad. One packet is worth 6 points and has 21 grams of fat!! Can you believe that?! I would have consumed both packets, had 42 grams of fat within one setting, and would have thought I ate a pretty healthy meal.

Thank you WW for making me realize the different :-)

The day after

Last night, I made myself work out and I'm so glad I did. I feel awesome today! It always is amazing to me how good you feel the day after you work out.

Anyway, my usual WI day is Thursday, but I'm going out of town after work Thursday so I'm going tomorrow.

This weekend is WVU Homecoming! I'm excited and nervous at the same time. I'm planning on eating chicken breasts and cauliflower and making a dish to bring from a WW recipe. Also, I'm trying to plan out the booze. I mean you can't go to a football game in Motown and not drink. That's unheard of. Sunday after the fun weekend, I'm traveling to Pittsburgh for training through my company. I'll be there Monday-Tuesday and returning to Charlotte Wednesday. That's a long time to be away from home while trying to stay OP. Anyway, wish me luck!

Hopefully I'll post on here tomorrow how the weigh-in goes.

Day #5 Post #1

March of this year I started WW, but stopped 14 weeks into it. I had lost 12lbs and was frustrated that I hadn't lost any more. 2 months after stopping, I started again....

Oct 2, 2008 I wondered, how much weight I would have lost between the time I stopped and that day. So, I signed up for a monthly pass and got back on plan. And why not blog along with it.

Today's day #5 and I can already tell a difference in how I feel. I've worked out twice so far and have stayed mostly OP. Saturday night was rough. It was a bachelorette party of which I'm a bridesmaid. A little too much to drink and a mild hang over Sunday can make me go a little nuts on food. It wasn't as bad as most other times though! Goals are below. They aren't super high. I'm not trying to achieve 2lbs per week. I know I'll set myself up for failure. I'm hoping to get a tape measure soon to be able get inches measurements. I also need to do before pictures.

Yay blogs!

Love,
Mols
